The 2nd edition of the national educational project “The Blue Planet Counts on You!” PACT initiated by the PRAIS Foundation in partnership with Nestlé Romania is starting in more than 180 primary schools, from 31 counties in the country.
For the first time, the methodologies developed by the PRAIS Foundation team led to the creation of a “no paper” PACT digital space, which allows integrated communication on social media platforms with the more than 350 teachers involved in the project. The quick learning process is facilitated by the free access to the PACT e-book and to the short educational films on the project’s YouTube channel.
“For the second year, we are planting the seeds of care for nature among school-age children in our country within the PACT project. Preservation and protection of the planet’s resources are basic notions of a responsible behavior towards the environment that our company constantly promotes and through concrete actions initiated every year”, said Irina Siminenco, Corporate Affairs Manager, Nestlé Romania.
In the following months, PACT extracurricular lessons based on digital information materials and the drawing activity with the theme “Earth is our home!” will take place in schools.
“The desire of teachers, students and families to participate with us in the 2nd edition of PACT confirms the importance we attach to this social cause. Our motto is that through education and action we can really contribute to the protection of natural resources, fauna and flora of the blue planet!” said Silvia Bucur, President of the PRAIS Foundation.
With the arrival of spring in all schools participating in the project “The Blue Planet Counts on You!” PACT actions will be implemented to plant flowers, shrubs, trees and take care of them.

Suna minunat ce au facut PRAIS Foundation si Nestle Romania impreuna pentru educatia copiilor din 31 de judete ale tarii! Proiectul “Planeta Albastra are nevoie de tine” ofera o invatare alternativa prin intermediul unor materiale digitale educationale si activitati de desen. Cu sosirea primaverii, se vor implementa actiuni PACT pentru a planta flori, arbusti si copaci si a le ingriji. Asemenea initiative sunt foarte importante pentru protejarea resurselor naturale si noi, ca oameni, din fericire, putem contribui la aceste procese.
