The 12th edition of the national movement “I live healthy, too!” – SETS, initiated by the PRAIS Foundation in partnership with Nestlé Romania, ended with a record of national expansion. The PRAIS Foundation team managed to expand the project in 179 cities and towns in 15 counties. Thus, there was a territorial increase of more than 8 times compared to the coverage of 2019, the year in which SETS became part of the Nestlé for Healthier Kids global initiative.
In total, 60,000 students from 402 primary schools were able to have free access this school year to quick learning tools, video educational materials and information on the SETS social media platforms created by the PRAIS Foundation team. Among them, over 20,000 students from 224 schools located in 93 urban and rural localities, coordinated by over 1,000 teaching staff, were actively involved in all the SETS activities.
The 15 counties present on the project map are: Arges, Bacau, Brasov, Botosani, Buzau, Cluj, Constanta, Dambovita, Dolj, Galati, Ilfov, Neamt, Prahova, Timis and Bucharest.
“After 12 years of implementation, the national SETS movement continues to massively involve children, teachers, families, and our partners. The latest recorded results make us confident in the mission we have undertaken to contribute measurably to the formation of healthy lifestyle habits, among students between the ages of 6 and 12″, said Silvia Bucur, President of the PRAIS Foundation.
“The goals and results achieved within the national SETS movement are aligned with our global Nestlé for Healthier Kids initiative, through which we aim to promote the healthy lifestyle and well-being of millions of children. For us, it is a priority to educate children from an early age to be able to make healthy nutritional choices, to consume vegetables and fruits, to do physical activities, sports and to spend quality time with family and friends, in the communities where they live”, said Irina Siminenco, Corporate Affairs Manager Nestlé Romania.
The 12th edition of the SETS movement marks a series of awards and records regarding the implementation and participation in the activities carried out:
